Fire Instructor I
This course is designed to meet the requirements of the Pro Board Fire Instructor I and assist the new fire service instructor with leading courses. The curriculum provides the student with the understanding of the National Fire Protection Association standard (NFPA 1041), but also gives the student an overview of preparing, organizing, and presenting courses within the fire service. The material will provide the instructor student with knowledge of course lesson plans, PowerPoint presentations, administrative duties, classroom organization, and presentation techniques. Students will give a prepared lesson plan and material to present.
Fire Instructor II
This course is designed to meet the requirements of the Pro Board Fire Instructor II and assist the student with building a presentation. The curriculum provides the student with the understanding of the National Fire Protection Association standard (NFPA 1041), but also gives the student an overview building a lesson plan, PowerPoint creation, managing Fire Instructor I's, and managing instructional material for fire service or departmental changes.
Fire Officer I
This course is designed to meet the requirements of the Pro Board Fire Officer I and assist the student with various problems and situations they may be required to lead and manage in today’s changing fire service. The curriculum provides the student with the understanding of the National Fire Protection Association standard (NFPA 1021), but also gives the student an overview of their own organization, administration, management theory, leadership, communications, motivation, group dynamics, inspection/investigation, and health and safety while staying in-line with NFPA 1021.
Fire Officer II
This course is designed to meet the requirements of the Pro Board Fire Officer II and assist the student with various problems and situations they may be required to manage in today’s changing fire service. The curriculum provides the student with a further understanding of the National Fire Protection Association standard (NFPA 1021), but also gives the student an overview of their organization. This course is designed for the Fire Officer or candidate who is ready to step into the middle management level of their department and assume more of a leadership role. After finishing this course, the candidate will be more knowledgeable of departmental budgets, fire investigation, ICS, and various reports. This course is in line with NFPA 1021 and NPQS.
Fire Officer III
This course is designed to meet the requirements of the Pro Board Fire Officer III and assist the student with managing personnel and administrative duties that will be required in maintaining a division in today’s fire service. The curriculum provides the student with a further understanding of the National Fire Protection Association standard (NFPA 1021), but also gives the student an overview of their organization. This course is designed for the Fire Officer or candidate who is ready to step into the middle management level of their department and assume more of a management role. After finishing this course, the candidate will be more knowledgeable of building divisional budgets, maintaining personnel time, and meeting NFPA 1710/1720 standards for your organization. This course is in line with NFPA 1021 and NPQS.
Fire Officer IV
This course is designed to meet the requirements of the Pro Board Fire Officer IV and assist the student with becoming the executive fire officer, building on their knowledge of the previous fire officer courses, ultimately leading to becoming the head of the organization. The curriculum provides the student with a further understanding of the National Fire Protection Association standard (NFPA 1021), but also gives the student an overview of their organization. This course is designed for the Fire Officer or candidate who is ready to step into the top management level of their department and assume more of a management role. After finishing this course, the candidate will be more knowledgeable of departmental budgeting, managing managers, analyze risks/hazards, create long-range plans, and develop a succession plan. This course is in line with NFPA 1021 and NPQS.
